Camille Saint-Saëns: Le carnaval des animaux, XIII. Le Cygne (The Carnival of the Animals, XIII. The Swan) (2020)
Recorded for my beloved aunt, Laura Crouch Mason, who passed away from lung cancer in August 2020 at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. I made this recording for her to enjoy in her final days to remind her that she was in my thoughts and prayers. I also performed this piece at her funeral. She went home to God on August 3, 2020, at the age of 54. I take great comfort in knowing that she now enjoys the perpetual loving embrace of Our Lord Jesus Christ. May God rest her soul.
